In the following two semesters I will produce work that support the theory of my concentration in three to four facets.
Through the process of printmaking I show the correlation between the industrial revolution and the distribution of wealth to the middle class and by the desire that was instigated by the leisure purveyed by the advent of the sort of advertising dominating our planet.
The rectangular form these ideas will take is paired with text, any text, preferably something really self indulgent. Also, I will reconcile older forms of print with the primary visual communication we see today: advertising. We are a culture bred in the circus of visual entertainment.
Paintings drawings and assemblage will feature alot of black, for its limitless and meaningless qualities, and a formless, amorphous shape.
